Through the month of September, the Lord took care of me and my family. He provided for all our needs and opened doors of favour everywhere we went.
A strange symptom that I experinced in August disapeared completely and I am enjoying sound health. Praise the Lord.
I just want to thank the lord for his protection and provision for me and my household. thank you lord for your mercy that endureth forever.
I want to thank the lord for my younger brother, he lost his job two years ago, and since then he has been trusting God for a new one, i sent a prayer request to the church prayer team and also the church Pastor joined in the prayer for an open door. To the glory of God early this year he secured a fantastic employment with one of the biggest oil company in Nigeria. I have come to return all the glory to God.Indeed our God is faithful.
Our God moved mountains and caused walls to fall! I heard a message about open doors from the church, and our God did exactly that!!! He opened a door I have been trusting Him for, for so long! He changed the rules and made room! indeed He is the One that opened and no man can shut. Praise Ye The Lord........
I want to return all glory to God, for 2 weeks I was having this burning sensation all over my body and was having discomfort, the devil was bringing all sorts of bad thought to me. On a sunday 26th of November 2017 , I was really in pain and the pastor noticed i wasn't feeling well. After the service he phoned me and prayed with me. To the glory of God the following day every symptoms of burning sensation dissapeared. I was amazed about this doing of the lord. To him alone i give all the praise.
The Lord answers prayers!
Our Boiler broke down last weekend in January and we could not get hot water and the house was very cold. We prayed to God that we don't want to spend any money to repair the boiler (it can really be very expensive). After trying a lot of DIY suggestions, the Lord dropped it in my heart to call the Home Insurance company to lodge a complain. They promised to sent an Engineer the next day morning(which happens to be a Sunday). The situation became another stress of concern, as we need to leave the house for church at 8:40am. We prayed to God to grant us favour that the Engineer come earlier and not delay us.
The Lord equally answered our prayer, the Engineer came before 8am and spent only 10mins to diagnose the problem.
Another Engineer was sent the following day with a replacement part, fixed it and the boiler started working again.
The Lord granted us favour and we did not spend anything.
He is good and answers prayers.
Praise the name of the Lord!
Praise the Lord. I want to thank the Lord for his Goodness, Mercy, Love and Favour in my life. I want to thank the Lord for finally settling me in the UK.
I came to the United Kingdom about 14 years ago on a student visa to study for my Masters degree. At the back of my mind I always wondered how things would work itself out. When I completed my Masters degree the Lord created a new initiative because of me. In this new initiative, everyone that had studied was given the rights to work in the UK for another two years. This was to help us gain some sort of work experience before finally going back to their countries. That initiative was called the IGS. After this IGS program, the government set up another program called the highly skilled migrants program (HSMP). It was during my transition into this HSMP program that I encountered some difficulties. I was supposed to have £800 worth of maintenance funds in my account untouched for three months; but for one reason or the other it moved for about two or three days in the required period and for that reason my application was refused. I tried to provide the Home Office with good reasons as to why my maintenance fund reduced from the required amount but they insisted I had to leave the country.
I prayed so hard and begged the Lord to sort out this situation because I felt it was such a small reason to miss a good opportunity to remain in the UK. Just as I was about to leave the country, the Lord did it again and a new immigration law was passed. This law was called the PAKINA RULE. This new law stated that maintenance fund should be spent and not left sitting in the account. With this new rule everyone was required to have the £800 worth of maintenance for at least ONE day in the three months period, instead of the 90 days originally required.
With this new law, I felt rest assured that my HSMP VISA would be granted. I wrote to the home office and even hired a lawyer to write on my behalf confirming that I was entitled to the PAKINA RULE but they ignored all my requests. During that time, the company I worked for had to stop me from working. I was told to sort out my immigration issues before returning to work. Things became difficult without a job and after much praying and fasting I felt that maybe the Lord wanted me to go back to Nigeria. I packed my bags and in February 2011, I moved back to Nigeria.
On getting to Nigeria, the Lord blessed me with a good job with one of the biggest banks, so I knew the Lord must have had a reason for taking me back to Nigeria. After about seven months in Nigeria, I realised I couldn’t cope with the complete change in lifestyle and I decided to write the Home Office. I wrote to request my HSMP visa based on the New PAKINA rule and stated that I had left the United Kingdom because I did not want to overstay. They replied stating that I had missed that opportunity as the deadline for the PAKINA rule had passed and was now over. I wrote a second letter to the Home office stating that I had made a request one by myself and another with a lawyer and that my case was never reviewed. This time the Home office replied finally granting my HSMP VISA.
In February 2012, I came back to the UK on my work permit visa. This was exactly after one year of leaving. I never gave up even though I was fighting from another country.
And six years later, this month, I’m officially SETTLED in the UK. There is absolutely nothing impossible for God to do, he knows our end even from the beginning.
